Coach's Word - Women's Volleyball Mounties
Our philosophy is basic...
We look for builders: players who want to build a competitive program and compete nationally.
We look for leaders: good student-athletes who can contribute to this University and who will benefit from it.
We make no guarantees to anyone: rookies and vets alike stand the same chance of making the team, and starting any game. Every player has to prove that she can practice and play well.
We won't promise special finances or extra perks, except what you earn yourself through the legal channels of the University and the ACAA.
The University is embarking on a fund raising campaign which will result in improved athletic facilities in the future; but my belief is it's not the facility and/or a "spiffy" uniform that makes a great player; it's the heart!
What we can promise you is:
A first-rate education and an opportunity to make an impact at this University and in the seven-team ACAA league.
You are not a number: you matter to us and here you can develop and grow in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
