HEAD COACH
BARRY COOPER

Born in Harleston, Norfolk, UK, Barry Cooper is a former Technical Director for Soccer New Brunswick's South Region, and as well, spent the past 15 years with the English Football Association, working on coaching certificate courses. During that time in England, Cooper was also coach for four years at Norwich City Academy in Norfolk, and director and coach of Norwich City Development Centre.

Cooper's playing experience includes eight years with teams in Norfolk, England and eight seasons with New Zealand provincial teams. His coaching background began 25 years ago with the attainment of his New Zealand Preliminary Badge, and ended with his English Football Association Full Licence Badge in 1990. He received his Football Association (FA) Tutors Award in 2000, a Union of European Football Association "A" Badge Conversion in 2002, and an FA Youth Coaches Award (U11-16) in 2003.

Cooper is in his third season as the Mounties women's soccer coach, and was also the head coach of the men's soccer team for 4 years.

ASSISTANT COACH
KATE CRAWFORD

 

Kate Crawford grew up in Sackville NB and has been involved with soccer from a very early age. She played in Sackville throughout her earlier career and went on to play for Tantramar Regional High School from 1996-2000. She earned a full athletic soccer scholarship to the University of Maine (Orono) from 2000-2004 where she graduated with her BSc in Kinesiology. After her four years at UMaine, she went on to receive her Master's in Physiotherapy from Husson University.

Kate moved back to the Sackville area in 2009 and has been involved with the Mount Allison Women's soccer programme and the Sackville Youth Soccer Association ever since. She currently works and lives in the Sackville area.
