The Mount Allison Men's Soccer team plays in the most competitive of AUS competitions, one which does not always appear an even playing field for them. There's is truly a challenge, both of ability and character.
The dominant word this season could well be 'courage', courage to believe in their quality, courage to believe the team, most of all, courage to not be afraid of wanting to win.
Once again, the squad will comprise of young students who will combine the quest for the excellence of the education here, with a passion of the sport and a desire to test themselves at the highest level.
My responsibility is create a team spirit that will galvanise the squad in that one direction. This may well be a season that will bring the best out in us all.
