Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to introduce Duane Starratt as the new head coach for the Mounties men’s basketball program.
Coach Starratt served as the head coach of Mount Allison’s men’s team from 2000-2002. During his first tenure with the program, Starratt guided the Mounties to the league championship final twice in three years. Prior to serving as head coach for the men’s program, Starratt served as an assistant to current Mounties’ women’s head coach Al Hart from 1996-2000. During that span with the Mounties women’s program, Starratt was part of two ACAA championships and two CCAA National Championship appearances.
Starratt lives in Amherst with his wife and three boys.
