SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES:
The Jack Drover Athletics Award
Recipient Qualifications:
-
Awarded to returning student who is a member of a Mount Allison varsity sport team
-
Has achieved a minimum GPA of 2.5
-
Successfully completed a minimum of 24 credit hours in their previous year of study, (September to May)
Established by the family and friends of Jack Drover in recognition of his 35 years of service to Mount Allison as a varsity coach and Athletic Director.
Edwin James Booth Scholarship
Recipient qualifications:

Four scholarships awarded with a preference firstly to students from the greater Moncton area, secondly to students from New Brunswick

Two entering student athletes will be chosen as per Mount Allison and Sport Governing body practices and policies with the recommendation of the Director of Athletics

Two entering students will be awarded the scholarship based on their academic standing and their interest and involvement in extra-curricular activities
Established in Edwin James Booth’s honour by his son David Booth (’84).
Frances L. Hickey Athletic Award
Recipient qualifications:

Two awards, for the male and female Rookies of the Year
Established in 1992 by Max Hickey in honour of his wife Frances Louise Hickey (’34).
RW & R Lister Scholarship
Recipient qualifications:
-
Deserving students who have attained high academic standing
-
Students who have developed all-round interests through effective participation in extra-curricular activities
-
Students from the Moncton area will be given first preference
Established by Ralph W. Lister (’29), an alumnus and former Director of Physical Education and Athletics at Mount Allison.
David M. MacAulay Athletic Award
Recipient qualifications:

Qualifying varsity athletes at Mount Allison
Established by his family and friends, in honour of David M. MacAulay, former long-time fan and Dean of Men (’34).
